Alex is a great photographer and has a knack for working out the best composition for biking pics. Wish NL used him more, as Pete Wileman (their official one) is shocking.
I have to agree, have had some done by Pete and they were good but Alex seems to capture that little something extra.
That first shot is spectacular as he kept the bike and rider pin sharp which some bits like wheels and post are blurry showing motion. The second is lovely but not difficult with a massive lens. Not keen on how he blurred the bottom line looks aftificial for me. Still both stunning shots. Any more of his around?
For the bottom shot he just applied a quick vignette in photoshop on it at the track. It was end of day and I had a 40 mile ride back home. Below another shot from the day.
It ain't so beautiful now mate, GWS Rich and let us know how your rehab is going, we havnt heard a lot from you lately. Andy B
Bike is been repaired as I type with a 9 grand repair bill and that only because Honda part are so bloody expensive, damage wasn't that bad. Body still healing but now managing short distances without the crutches. Sorry I haven't been on here much but when your stuck at home unable to drive/ride on statutory sick pay they ain't the happiest of times :-( Couple of picture here to remind everyone of the injured parties. :-( Before and after with an "out and about" at Ty Croes couple of weekends ago.
Good to hear from you rich and glad your on the mend. How long do think before you can return to work or is that still a long way off yet? Andy B
20th of the month next appointment at Stoke with another one on 26th and Glan Clwyd but think it's going to be September before the metal bone comes off :-(
