I know I know I told you so but? Toshiba Netbook NB250-10G...........Good or Bad I ask? Picked one up at a stupid price and tried to use it, it's pissin so slow it was unbelievable so I upped the RAM to 2GB ,yep instantly faster surffin but some sites ie Facebook etc are still slow. Am I missing a trick here and is there a way of viewing those sites in a different way?? I,m no techno so if you are going to suggest sumfin make it easy to do..PLEASE.
What browser are you using on it? If not Chrome, I recommend it - should speed up things a bit. Failing that, wipe the HDD and re-install Windows.
It's a netbook and the model is over 3 years old, wouldn't hold out great hope for rip roaring performance. As suggested try chrome and whack on extensions like ad block, flash block etc.
WTF are they??? Panic over.............gone down the Chrome route and its a lot better but what are "ad block and flash block? How about a shortcut?
