Finally took the plunge and bought a new Blade today. I have been doing a lot of test rides recently but in the end the best all round deal was another Honda ! Nothing wrong with my old Blade but the mileage was getting up and I thought I'd trade up before the bike was worth bugger all. So far the new bike feels a lot more refined, the engine is smoother and much better low down even with the standard exhaust fitted (racefit coming when funds allow !). The suspension is a lot better though I think I will soften off the front a bit, now to run it in so that I can give it a proper thrashing... Old and new:
Yeah it was a great bike and I owned it for 3 years... I put 21,000 miles on it, 3 Euro trips, a couple of track days and loads of fun without any issues at all ! Took all my kit off of it as some bits will fit the newbie. I'll have a Leo Vince SBK Evo can and link pipe for sale soon, very good condition but won't fit the new bike (will post in For Sale section soon !). It was a bit emotional at the stealers this afternoon !!!
i bought a brandnew one 2013 may not has 16.000 miles ))0 still going strong rr4 is for fun but i am thinking about px both in and buya new fireblade seing your picture does not help to keep me calm
Keep us updated what mods you do. I think i will go with Taylor made when it's released later this year. I have already changed the indicator bulbs to chrome ones.
