Actually guys it didn't cost the earth. £125 for the kit (imported from the States) and because I didn't want to mess up my existing light unit I bought another headlight unit from eBay (£120) and installed the kit whilst it was off the bike. Then took it all down to auto electrician and they wired it up. The biggest issue was not the wiring but the fitting - there is very little room under the fairings.

As for the MOT - I'll find out tomorrow, it went in today. I'm not expecting an issue. The kit gives the option of having the angel eyes in red which makes the front look evil but would be a definite MOT no-no.

As for the battery - it could be a coincidence but soon after fitting the battery wouldn't keep its charge, despite religiously keeping it on a trickle charger. So I had to replace it. This battery seems OK so I'm not blaming the lights.

That looks great Brian. I assume it can be done to the RR5 model, do you have the website link?

The mot went fine. Their main concern was that the lights were a little high but couldn't be adjusted down any more
