Hey guys and gals.. I stumbled on this forum while i have been trying to source parts for my new girl!.... I live in sunny and beautiful and warm Townsville, Australia.... just off the great barrier reef (just to rub it in a littte ) Ive been riding my other half's Niky Hayden 07 repsol replica for the past couple of months and secretly been loving it, and so have just bought myself a 06 cbr 1000rr. It needs a bit of work and has been dropped, but less then 10000km on the clock and was a bargain for 5.5K (cheap in aussie terms!). So i have ordered paint, a new lower fairing - because the original oem has been burnt by the exhaust.... and the current paint job is just two pac red/black and looks dodgy as!.... So i will post photos when she is done up!. I also ride a k9 gsxr 1000, and have a 98 zx6r track bike aswell! so im sharing the love.. just need a yammy in my garage it seems I do a fair bit of street riding - around 20000km a year.. and the cbr will be my ride to work and take to the twisities... whereas the gixxer is my long haul boy as i have racks for bags on him to do long trips or just generally carrying stuff One of my work mates i think is on this forum, so i dare say he will pipe in, in here.. and say g'day!... as he used to live in uk aswell so knows this forum. so i guess that enough of a introduction and if i've put you all too sleep i dare say there maybe some either druel marks left on your keyboards and silence in this thread... however being a chick.. i dare say i'd get lots of hi's! lol... and are there any girls that ride over there? it seems its all blokes?! what the!.... ill get some pics after she is done up... but this is her.. naked... and the fairings waiting to be painted.... if u look closely you can see the burnt lower fairing... which i am replacing..
