just received my letter from the existing insurer and FCuk me it has gone down by 2 pence!! Never seen this happen in decades (yes I belong to the white hair brigade). For good measure, I still tried a couple of price comparison websites. At best they matched the renewal quote but with no pillion cover not that I need it). Incidently reducing the mileage to 3000 did not affect the premium but adding commuting to work almost double it.
