Hi all, had a rr5 Repsol since 2008, love the bike to ride and look at on the patio, sad I know for a 63year old. Followed the Scotland Tour day by day and wished I was there. Decided to go myself and a mate second week in June for four days. Had a 94 Blade that would have been one of the nicest in the country until South Yorkshire Police wiped me out whilst stationary at a red light. Not done much riding over last three years as I have been track daying on my YZF750r (in pink & white) but just getting back into it. Will post some pictures of blade. Mick
Cheers Blademan look forward to the photos we have a dude similar age called The Firebloke you will get on a treat with him .He loves a bit of buttered crumpet this time of night.
Hi Colin, don't know much else than sports bikes as only started in 2003 and apart from a FZS600 I use for commuting, Iv'e not ridden anything else. What would you use a non motorway route to Scotland up the west side? Mick
Where are you leaving from(roughly), and where do you plan on ending up (again roughly)? There are so many good roads to choose from but I'm sure I could come up with a few
Welcome aboard from another youngster (57), never too old for a sports bike IMO, we are not old, we are mature lol Have fun here, great bunch. Nige
Hi n welcome Mick its not the years its the mileage! Another Dee Dah look out for some days out fella.
Welcome dude! I am but a teenager compared to Givover, he gets a bit jealous of my smooth moves with the laydees. You'll fit in well on here but post your pics soon or there'll be trouble!
Welcome to the forum, at 44 I'm on daily glucosamine and fish oil tablets, at 63 I'm gonna sound like a charity collection tin!
Thanks again for the welcome guys. Colin, we are going from Sheffield to Fort William the first day so really need a route from Carlisle. Have used the ferry to Dunoon a few times and hate the A82. Fancy going to Rothesay via ferry but may be a bit much in a day.
