My old Fazer used to have a list of fault codes which were displayed by the rev counter doing various dances in the handbook, anything like that in your owners manual?

im sure the rev counter works of a voltage reading but I cant think of there
being a sensor for it unless it runs off the speed sensor too??
failing that it will be a new dash needed.mine done something like that when the
stop pin and the bottom fell out and it done a lap of the dash :s
