I've just installed BT for motogp and its been nothing but a pain in the ass!!

Tried ringing BT and been on the phone for 20 fcukin minutes (14p per minute) to a woman who clearly doesn't understand english and got nowhere. I've tried the power cycle of the youview box and homehub but with no results.

The error codes I am getting are 6011 and 6012.

At the minute I do not have an aerial so cannot get the freeview channels however up until 2 days ago the internet channels (bt sport, discovery etc) were all working.

Is it THAT FCUKING DIFFICULT to just get a decent service nowadays whether its phone/tv/internet!!??!?!??

    Pissed off.

I believe those codes relate to the fact that you have no Ariel connected.

What you have not said is if your router is working, how you connect to the Box, do you have anything else connected to the router and does that work - laptop or PC for example.

The ON/OFF thing is a default Help Desk thing to try, after that some basic info is needed to help more.

My router and internet are all working fine, the youview box is connected into the back of the homehub switch directly via ethernet. Just been in the loft and the aerial goes down the wall to the ground floor. To save having to splice into the cable im gonna have to go buy a shitty plug in thingy i tihnk

But that does not explain why the Internet Channels are not now working.

    Oh right, never mind then!

Was just going to say if you ring BT with your SKY viewing card number they instantly enable BT Sport on ya SKY subscription for free.

That's how I watch it and no Buffering!

    Yup!

Tiz an £8 a month extra I think if you pay SKY direct for BT Sports but free if your Broadband is with BT instead of SKY or anyone else.

    U get ESPN as well!

Have U solved the Router problem yet?
