Yo everyone Just want to hear about what parts of the industry you guys/gals work in, what its like and how you got there? I'm about to get out of my time in an engineering apprenticeship, doing my electrical engineering degree atm currently on a comfortable 1st so started looking at masters courses... There's loads! Not sure what industry I wanna get into and I'm with a decent organisation atm just wanna get some ideas. Always wanted to work in the aerospace industry but currently couldn't be working further from it lol. Cheers!!!
I only done nvq's in electrical engineering as part of my time served as a spark but when on to do ten years of aerospace engineering.now I work in a hospital and I wouldnt go back to that work for three times the wage I was on,I was getting sick all the time and had issues with asthma but I was also very stressed out and found work a real chore.Now im in the NHS working (for a hell of a lot less) but the work is enjoyable,doesnt feel like a chore and I havent had any health or asthma problems since, even ran a half marathon which I could never have done before.
