Anybody know much about tagging mp3's so the car will recognise the album and single names and come up on the display , there seems to be a lot of different formats . I'm using a navi 600 unit in the Vauxhall , cheers

How are you dealing with the mp3 files? As individual files on a Pc or through iTunes etc?

If it's just a few then you could just right click and go into the file properties and change the tag there.

I'm putting approx 100 albums on the flash drive , wanted a quick fix without manually editing the tags . Got iTunes for iPhone and iPad . Been using MP3 tag to manually edit , but long winded

I should have elaborated. MediaMonkey has a scripting engine, and also a large library of add-ons, which will allow you to auto-tag Album and Track Name tags based on folder and file name.
E.g. Write the Folder name into the "Album Name" field, and file name into the "Track" field.

Not that I've ever had to try it, but the help files and website explained how to do it.

If you have a Windows box you can use media player to put in the tags.

In WMP Just go to the album, select them all and then you should be able to edit them from the text by the album image/image holder.
