Yeah, need a good deal…about to do an oil and filter change. Castrol or whatever - 10w-30 semi please?
I did a quick check on Opie oils and Halfords and I am afraid that Halfords are a bit cheaper I also got a champion oil filter .
Yup Elaine swopped the Castrol power 1 for Power1 racing and the oil filter is a champion F308 .I am surprised how the containers are near identical .Now thinking about changing the radiator water as well .Is it as simple as undoing a bottom hose and refilling or can air get into the system and spoil the party?
your prob don't need the coolant doing mike? How many miles you done? i'm on 16k and it's still original coolant (2011 bike)
Yup only 5k so not at your miles yet ...... But does it not degrade (is that the right word)? Ie if it goes through the engine 1000s of times would it not lose its edge?
I was told by the guy who does my bike, no need unless it sits for ages unused… Mines still bright blue and cools the engine well, but then I've added water wetter to it.
