I want to take the rear pegs off my RR5, I know I have to get a bracket for the brake fluid but is there any kind of blanking plate to cover where the pegs voted on? I have tried a search on eBay but no luck Anyone know where to go or what have you done? Cheers for your help

Cheers bats, I got black frame so they will do the job just right, never thought of using them simple really
No probs mate that's what I did with mine when I had one!! Don't buy the hrc pipe res for tear it swells like a bastard after a few week!
I want to do the same... where do I look for a rear reservoir that will allow me to remove the right peg? And there seems to be an attachment to the heat shield that would need sorting...
I seem to remember reading somewhere, probably MCN, years ago that the rear brake master cylinder from the Honda CR range (moto crossers) had a built in fluid reservoir and these could be used to replace the '04 - '07 Blade master cylinder and remote res. Heat shield brackets are available on ebay or you can make your own by cutting down a rear foot rest hanger, plenty available on ebay.
I have removed the rear pegs and stuck the old bolts back in to the subframe, looks fine. I got the HRC rear reservoir kit and yes it does sweat, but it isn't an issue. I think that it is some of the pre 2004 CRs that had the integral rear reservoir and you can use these. I did try sourcing one but then gave up and opted for the HRC pipe kit. If you have a look on ebay there is a bracket for about £10-12 which holds the heat shield in place, buggered if I can find it on there now though!!
LOL....just fookin KNEW dave would be the first with the link. Ha ha... I swear that guy lives inside a computer.
Ive got one of them somewhere can i find it can i fook! also i sold my bolt to master res to RAY on here! They are about pretty hard to get like will see if i can find a link!!
you can get blanking plates from demon tweeks, but i dont know how much they are, and with the brake res you can use a g-craft res which will fit behind the heel guard, but they are about £120
Cheers fella... have found that some bright spark made replica (i.e. knock-off) g-craft reservoirs... sounds like most places have sold out though. Found an American website that claims to have these replicas in stock, but they don't ship outside USA (thus perpetuating the stereotype that Americans cant comprehend of anything existing outside of the good ole' US-of-A). Sent them an email on the off chance they've heard of England, and are willing to ship there
