When I fill the details in on the mail settings it keeps sayin my password is wrong, but if I go into safari and go through sky it works fine, any ideas?
Sounds like Sky does not allow you to collect your mail on mobile devices . Lots of Email providers are doing this now , Virgin is the main one . Either google it to see what work arounds people are doing online or phone them and ask for the correct Imap or PoP settings for an iPad I deal with email problems on iPads all bloody day in work and it is always the in and out server settings that need to be changed or you have to upgrade your service by paying something like 10 quid a month for it
If i remember correctly, to send from sky (and virgin) you must be connected to there servers. So you must be on your Network at home, you will not be able to send using your iPad or phones 3G signal as the IP address will be from your network provider not from your Home Internet provider
