I'm just trying to decide on a new 2 piece suit and I've seen some reasonably-priced RICHA stuff. I've got a pair of their gloves which seem well made but I've never had any of their other clothing. Anyone else care to weigh in regarding their quality?
I,ve had a couple of sets in the past , always thought they were the low end of the market and more suited to the slim population as they tend to not be very generous with the cut ,however that was several years ago......and before anyone chirps in......I, m not a fat bastard!
Had Richa 2 piece for a while, appears to be well made and standing up to the test of time, can be a bit snug after Xmas, maybe just me then!! Luckily not had to try them in an off and don't really want to test them either. They seam to be well enough made to give good protection.
Had a decent jacket 10 years ago, and they cheaper set of trousers (but still had knee sliders). They protected me well in a crash where I slid across 3 lanes of traffic on my front, but were completely shredded. Fixable, but shredded. The gloves, however, were weak. I burned through the little finger and had to lift the hand up.
I've got a Richa attack one piece that I've had a couple of low speed spills in (I front of the cafe at Cadwell in the wet & top right hander at Anglesey). Amongst our team we eve had loads of crashes and done okay with them. They are lower end of market but seem to hold together okay, the armour is pretty poor. My mate had a 150ish spill in a set and wore through the elbow of his set but that was a BIG crash and he walked away okay apart from that.
