Evening All, I'm after a Bike Electrcian to help identify a potential short circuit, in/near Essex. I don't do electrics. I'm experiencing an issue with my fuel reserve light staying on. The manual says that if I unplug the sensor under the tank, and the reserve light went OFF on the dash, when the ignition was on, then I should change the pump. I did this this morning, with battery negative disconnected (As you always do) Re-connected everything, primed the new pump, and fired it up. Running lovely but..... reserve light remained on. So, again, unplugged the sensor under tank, switched on the ignition and the light this time stayed ON. The manual says that if this happens, I should now hunt through the wiring for a short circuit between the plug and the grey connector behind the clocks. Can anyone recommend someone who can fix this for me. Thanks Wayne.
