Any tyre clever cloggses?

    Not even for the bike but for the car.

    My Focus has 205/50/16 on it at present. I'm biting the bullet and sticking winters on it this year for....well...the winter :D

    I'm thinking of getting some part-worns off fleabay but the choice is pretty thin in that size. A lot more choice in 205/55.

    Reckon this would cause any problems???

    Not if the arches are big enough to accommodate it. Speedo will be slightly out but otherwise absolutely fine.

    Your spare will be a different size though which would make the drive a bit more 'interesting' ;)

    Don't think you'll have any problems. Quite a bit of tolerance in the bodywork.

    I do agree with sinewave, vredestein are certainly one of the best winter tyres you can get
