Any tyre clever cloggses?

Not even for the bike but for the car.

My Focus has 205/50/16 on it at present. I'm biting the bullet and sticking winters on it this year for....well...the winter

I'm thinking of getting some part-worns off fleabay but the choice is pretty thin in that size. A lot more choice in 205/55.

Reckon this would cause any problems???

 

Not if the arches are big enough to accommodate it. Speedo will be slightly out but otherwise absolutely fine.

Your spare will be a different size though which would make the drive a bit more 'interesting'

 

Don't think you'll have any problems. Quite a bit of tolerance in the bodywork.

We run Vredestein Wintrac Xtream's on the Merc and they are feckin' ACE TBH.

Here they are in my utility room with the youngest before they got fitted last November and fitted before a small Jolly with the Tribe!

I do agree with sinewave, vredestein are certainly one of the best winter tyres you can get
