Every time I get a bit money in it all goes on my bike! I've got to stop spending but can't help myself!
Bought a spare pair of wheels for my RR5 trackbike (£300), then realised I needed some tyres to go with them. So I've bought some nice shiny Pirelli Diablo intermediates (£270). Oh yes, then I see that PeterC was selling his full system titanium Akra (£500) and I just couldn't see that wasted on a road bike......what without any provision for baffles, I've probably saved someone from a fine or even points!
So today I get a day off due to the weather and lose a days pay (???) and off I trundle to JB Racing at Golbourne, Wigan to have the map changed to suit (£70). Now all I have to do is wait until Tuesday for the gates at Oulton Park to open and Whaaayyyyy Haaayyyyy hopefully it all comes together!!
So I realise I need to start a "Fund the Firebloke" charity 'cos I just can't keep spending like this!!!!!...........All donations gratefully received :D:D

you've put inters on your spare wheels not wets??

as for the spending,i've just learnt to accept it now, what ever you do though,do not keep a record of how much you've spent,it might just push you over the edge.....

you know you have a problem when everything else you buy not related to bikes is quantified as a % of a trackday......

No intention of going out in the rain Scooby but will risk it in wet/damp conditions hence the intermediates.

It's just for the track, I have an 08 for the road. We probably need to have a long chat when we meet at Oulton. :)

tbh those are the worst conditions imo,at least when it's wet you know it is.

inters do have thier merits though, especially in the colder months.

I'm like it with my RR5 (road bike) I realise it wasn't a good idea and that I couldn't really afford it when the kids are waring the best towels for nappies.
I am quite willing to lend you the kids for a few months if this helps

No idea Peter, he said there was some kind of problem with the printer which I didn't question at the time but it should've come up on his computer anyway. He said to take it back for a free run next time I was over there. To be honest I'm not hung up on the figures, I'll know if it's running well when I ride it on track and as long as it's a smooth delivery that'll do me.
