One of the endurance lads suggested them at the weekend. Has anyone used them on track? Noticed quite a few lads on them in the motogrande
Have a look on here http://1000rr.co.uk/mods-upgrades-accessories-products/309.htm A few mates I know have used them to race and track and have gone onto other tyres as they have not been that impressed. But only what I heard
Im currently using either racetec or supercorsa scrubs. Seen a lot of lads on power ones/cups at the weekend. I can get a set of power ones new for £200. That's nearly £100 cheaper than the pirellis and metzelers. I am allowed slicks yes. I wouldn't mind trying a brand new set of tyres to see the difference. Only ever used scrubs on track that are years old!!!
I've been using the bridgestone slicks last year, the V01's great tyres and last ages. I'm paying about 225£ a set. I'm on the V02's this year as they zre the 200 rear tyre. I've been on slicks for 4 years now, best change I've ever done.
metzeler slicks are good as well. I reckon the pirelli are the best, cost more than 100£ more, so the bridgestones will do for me
215£ a set, but just checked to conversion rate, 225£ a set, i'm paying 270€ a set. if anyone wants some I'm over in may at cadwell
Cheap Metzeler slicks here :- Tyre Metzeler Racetec Slick 180/55 R17 TL, NHS, SLICK - Tyre Leader Tyre Metzeler Racetec Slick 120/70 R17 TL, NHS, Front, SLICK - Tyre Leader
thats cheap, but make sure they are k2 and not the compK tyre as te compk tyre is ****, it last a long time but **** grip. metzeler k2 slicks are very good tyres, rode most of my PB's on these tyres
