Yes a million times lol. Ideally take them off and masking tape up where you need to drill and support underneath. Using a centre punch tap it lightly just so it marks the laquer then using a 2mm drill bit drill it and get yourself a fine tooth hole saw cutter and you should get through it easily.
Removing them is what I was afraid of... That's a job for winter then... in the meantime how do I get the suspension linkage out without using the swing arm pivots!>?
Abba stand with the footrest adaptors screws into where rearset bolts are, as allows the whole of the swing arm to be removed! Is what I used when I changed over my old swing arm bolt to the titanium one
