As above really. I am struggling to get these things to flash correctly. I have tried them without and with resistors and no difference. I also cant seem to find a flasher relay online for them either. Has anyone fitted some and how did you do it.
Seriously don't bother with resistors, I know some have success with them but they generate heat and are normally pretty low quality. R&G show up if you search for led relay fireblade 2015 Leads to this which had the 2015 listed under other bikes. No fan of r&g but if it solves the problem and no-one can provide an alternative it must be worth a go.
Never had good customer service from them. Twice previously I contacted them and never got a reply. Then found Evotech and realised what proper quality kit should look like
Cheers. I only asked as I've had spills with both R&G and GB Racing. The GB Racing cover got ripped off the bike and broke the engine cover, where as the R&G sliders and engine case cover have all done well. If it's customer service though then I'll look up Evotech for the new bike.
I went evotech with my tail tidy purely on the fact it hasn’t got R+G plastered all over it good service and after a bit of digging they manufacture most of their products in their own machine shop
Removed all the front to get to the relay and the new one from r&g is different as per picture. These things are doing my head in now. The relay I have received is the one listed for my bike but is definitely different. Anyone any further ideas?
Have standards on At least you will be seen Are the cheap led’s and if so is it them that are at fault?
