As per title. I'm have just put Gilles rearsets on in GP shift. Works a treat but the angle of the gear linkage/rod looks a little awkward so I was wondering if any people could post up pictures of theirs for me to see.

    TIA

    Hi

Yes, that is actually very very helpful thank you for taking the time to post it.
I bought the rear sets second hand and they came in bits. I found a Giles manual online but it showed the bottom of the gear rod connecting on the outer side of the foot selector piece, and not the inner side. I've done a track day on it with no issues but I realise looking at the bike that it was sitting at an angle that looked wrong, kicking out too much.

I had considered initially mounting on the inside but I have a quick shifter and the cylindrical QS unit looked to rub on the sprocket cover.

Glad its helped you out, i now have a qs fitted but its mounted right at the top of the shift rod so nowhere near the sprocket cover.
Could do with a slightly smaller shift rod now though as at the mo i have no adjustment left on anything.
