I have had on of those Android MX streaming boxes for ages but when I bought it the seller had converted it to run Linux as it was meant to be more stable and faster. The company has now closed down and the box has their own software and passwords installed so you cannot do much with it. Does anyone know if you can just somehow remove the Linux and replace it with the latest Android operating system which can then run Mobdro, xbmc, Kodi etc I wasn't sure if you just put the Android software on a memory card then reset the box it would overwrite the Linux. Not even sure how you can plug it into a pc to see what's on it, sub, hdmi ?
