    HI,

Me and Martin here visited a car dealer who has a low mileage RR5 Repsol for sale..200 miles round trip for me..but enjoyed the drive.. :D

Keep away and do not buy this bike..

    We found the following:

    • Mileage discrepancy: 2008 MOT showed 3000 odd miles, the service stamp in 2009 had 2000 odd miles on it
    • Left Panel Had been resprayed
    • Rear Cowl had a crack in it

I called the company that did the service, they said they do not keep records of mileage or what work was carried out - VERY Suspicious

The seller suggested i alter the service book before i sell on the bike!

Yea this thing looked nice at first glance, was polished so well you could see your face in it but the closer you looked the worse it got, it had had a repair on the side that just happened to be against the wall the repair was bad the orange was slightly darker than other side and looked like orange peel, millage had been messed with, service book will now be changed.
Don't fall for it guys I'm pretty sure this has done alot more miles than 6k

And judging by the tyres it's been used as a track bike more often than not.

the dealer said he had someone coming on Sunday - no doubt the service book would have been altered by now..

Anyway..the guy who was due to go down Sunday read my post on firebladerriders forum - and decided not to go..

Well done mate! We should of taken a pic of the book as it was and then I could of arranged to see again and then reported him to trading standards.

You Might have to speak to the wife nicely and buy her some new shoes or something
Or just take her car and tell her she needs to pick it up from southend
