Just bought a bike from Hull (not a CBR1000RR though ).

Thing is, I can either train it up and ride down (which I don't really fancy in this weather) or I can arrange a delivery service for £100 ish.

Thing is I really need to check the bike out first and check the seller is legit before dumping finds into the sellers account.

Anyone fancy checking it out for me? Never bought blind before! I'll buy you a beer (or two) :D:D

    Rob.

Do tell - what is it? CB 125? ;)

Exactly, but I have the safety of checking the bike first before handing over my hard earned! Have not yet paid but for it but agreed the sale.

Barmby was ranting about invading Kent earlier, perhaps he could bring it with him.

^^ Ratchet straps... hate them! Just bring loads of bubble wrap and throw it in!

About 4 ratchet tiedowns , two to pull forwards against the back of a seat, two to pull back. Preferably get a van with a side dooor as well. Take a coupla old mattresses, just in case!!! May be worth removing fairings as well , so take tool kit?

or just risk it for a biscuit and get it delivered for 100 notes... thats what i would do - if its a minger you can always sell it on in the summer and maybe make money..

Rob, I'm about an hour away from Hull, but not familiar with Aprillia's so don't feel confident to make a judgement call with someone elses money

Most dealers offer nationwide delivery for around £125. I know they haven't sold you the priller, but times are tough and it is the dead season. Just a thought. Might be worth a couple of calls. Other than that, nobody got a bike trailer near you?
If ya do end up shoving it in a van, remember the tie wraps to lock the front brake on.
