if anyone has one of the oe solo seat cowls, could someone measure and let me know the size of the 'Honda Racing' lettering please? Need to know: Height of 'H' in mm Width of 'H' in mm Height and width of 'O' in mm Total length of graphic from start of 'H' to end of 'g' Don't want to pay main stealer prices for an oe cowl cuss they are a huge rip off, so bought a cheap ass one off flea bay which as you would guess is shite! However a mate can make the decals in whatever colour I like if I can get the sizes and I can sort out the sink marks in the moulding and general poor paint quality by painting with the correct colour and making good with a bit of cellulose stopper. I've been known to paint the odd car or van in my time and have all the kit... Thanks to anyone who can help!
No just the stock oem cowl off a 2013 bike or something. One colour (in my case black) with the rubber triangle bit at the front. It just says 'Honda racing' on the side in small letters. I guess about 8mm high. If that doesn't make sense I'll try to upload a picture, but I'm on an iPad now so would need to boot up my ten year old pic, which takes about a week...
A mate of mine will make it for me. He is getting a new vinyl cutter soon. I'm sure he won't mind me sharing his details when he is up and running. Maybe a month away yet though. And if I can't get the dimensions it may not work so well... Nice bike by the way, looks extremely like the one in my garage! Good taste...
