I have for sale a APPLE TV Generation 2 (generation 3 current model you can not jailbrake)

Once Jailbroken, XBMC can be installed followed by a large number of repositories \ Add-ons:

This is jail broken with the following Addons \ Programs:

• XBMC 12 (Frodo (released only last week)
• Navi –x - A Very large Movies \ TV Shows repository (current and old and cam qualities) (Including HD Movies)
• 1Channel -A Very large Movies \ TV Shows repository (current and old and cam qualities) (Including HD Movies)
• IceFilms - A Very large Movies \ TV Shows repository (current and old and cam qualities) (Including HD Movies)
• Adult Content can be added if requested
• BBC iPlayer

This will also allow you to stream your local movie files, pictures & Music by adding to the xbmc library (without jailbreak this is not possible) it also downloads movie covers etc from the internet.

Supplied with:

• AppleTV is in good condition
• Apple Remote
• Power Cable

I can install XBMC HUB on there if you like but found this does not work correctly.

Glad it's not just me that read that and thought wtf does that all mean then

 

a mate of mine has a jailbroken apple tv box, great piece of kit, It lets you stream all the latest movies and tv series , sports etc free of charge
you can install xbmc on your laptop, then download and intall navi-x plugin and try it out on the laptop

 

i knew what it all meant honest

 

I still dont. Can i install apps like on my ipad, or is it just for streaming stuff off my PC?

Yes it allows you to stream movies from all over the net.

I have edited the original post – the programs XBMX hub installs are very temperamental..

Funny reading this...reading about old dog, new tricks reminded me of my wife..shes still in training

allows you to stream movies \ films from all over - you can always revert back - let me know if you need pointers on how to do this..

this this the reason apple tv 2 are worth more then the newer apple tv 3..

Sounds good - but no...Apple TV is not that reliable, you need patience - something i dont have..

it was good for my 500 odd HD movies i have on a network share..as it download covers etc..

i dont watch TV..
