Thanks, whenever my brother goes up to Box Hill or Newlands Corner, people always come over and look at it. The bike always is no matter what, correctly warmed up, fed on fully synthetic oil and pampered.
It's got to be done with those bikes. A mate of mine just sold his RS125, and as always with a 2 stroke they take a little more care, but those who own them enjoy that side of it as much as riding them. I'd love that as part of a collection They look timeless.
This same brother bought my first back to bikes Aprilia RS125 from me when I bought the RS250 then bought the 250 when I got my CBR600RR. If I hadn't coverted the 600 in to my track bike, he would have bought it from me as well I always look after my bikes, thats why he always bought them straight off me and he's the same as me as far as looking after his bikes. He's looking at moving on to 4 strokes now, if he had the money he wouldn't sell the Aprilia and keep it for sunny sunday rides.
I owned an rs125 and had to have 2 engine rebuilds but still loved every minute of it. (and yes it was always warmed up and i used good quality oil) I had the chance to ride one of these and my god what a bike they are. in a few years when i have enough money i will be the proud owner of 1. Who ever gets this is a lucky boy as long as they love and care for it

Hi RS250 MK2, He decided not to sell it in the end. He has now got his new bike and loves it, he might reconsider selling it, i'd have to ask him. Barry
