Purchased this helmet around a couple of months ago, with one thing and another only been out a few times and each time after about an hour my head is in agony, I have a bright red strip right at the top of my forehead once removed?? Seems like too small or rubbing? They checked it in the shop and says it's right size when I bought it!! Any ideas????

How many times have you worn it? My Viper GT took about 5-6 hours to break-in. It fitted perfectly in the shop but did give me a bit of grief on the RHS of my forehead until bedded in.

Around 3-4 hrs at the mo, surely this is more than breaking in ??

Should be OK. Who did you buy it from? Most places won't exchange lids :(

Could be lucky as they are normally pretty good about returns.

I had the same problem with my Chaser V (previously had Viper and Quantum and they were perfect fit). I took it to the Arai Technicians at the TT last year and they used a small roller to compress the inner helmet where it was rubbing. It is a lot better now.

May be the right size but not everybody has an Arai shape head. I have a v comfy AGV but the new one kills me or is too loose :(

I'd give it 2 months, mine fit like a tight gove then 2 months later was comfortable rather than tight, otherwise you may have a size too small or even a Martian shaped head ;)

Take it to a shop with an Arai trained person. If its just reshaping and padding removal, they will do a custom fit.
