I love these, but no way would I spend that much. It goes to prove how overpriced these are? Dealers still have lids from the 2009 TT that have not sold. On another side I just stated I would not use my money to buy one. But I'm open to gifts
There are only 3 limited edition IOM TT lids, 2010,11 & 12. I've look for a 2010, but there all sold out, collectors Jo and I have the 2011 model, they go well with our Repsols
Whillst I think yours are very nice l can't say the same for the 2010 and 2012. If you are a collector though them for for it
I like em and considering my RX7GP was £630 anyway and these are a limited run I don't think its a terribly high price !
I wouldn't encourage them!!!.. That price is outrageous it hasn't even got 5 stars sharp test it was only awarded 3 or 4 stars! Its just a name with a fancy paint scheme your payin for nothin more! I've tried them they are nothin special! I got a Shark rsr2 i think it's a far superior lid at less than half the price with much higher standards!
I normally love Drudi paint jobs, but that one is shit. Please don't quote that sharp test rating crap - it's misleading and irrelevant.
Please inlighten me about the SHARP test for what I've read! It is how much small area force a lid can take before cracking that sound pretty important to me!
If you really want to understand the significance of SHARP tests, just google it ("Evaluation of the SHARP Motorcycle Helmet Rating" will point you to some professional analysis). I just wouldn't recommend basing a helmet purchase decision wholly on it.
Dave-uk - As I kindly supplied you the search term you need in the first place, I'm assuming the hilarious google joke is for yourself
LMGTFY, is a website Jimbo. I use it a lot to shame customers who find it easier to dial my number than look stuff up for themselves. Yesterday, I got a phone call asking how to tell the difference between Bakelite and 'normal' plastic. Remember, I'm a photographic technician...? Let me google that for you It's good. It pisses people off at a distance.
