Anybody got any experience of Armstrong wavy discs have been offered a set for £100 inc postage are they worth it or a bad buy they are for my 04 blade any advice would be good thx gazza1
is this the set that was on ebay? I was going to bid but completly forgot untill the final 7 seconds. I tried but was too late.
yes these were the ones on ebay had a second chance offer but he has sold them so thread doesnt really matter now guys
That's a bugger as 100 sheets was really cheap for a pair, I think they are normally around the £280 mark.
Bit late now but I had a set on my R1 and was megga impressed But I suppose you would rather hear ......... They were crap ... don't buy em ...
Gazza, have you looked at Galfer? Jo and I have them. Can't say I've noticed any difference in braking to be honest, but they look good. We go ours from another forum member, the ones photographed in the link are the ones on my bike, there a lot cheaper than the UK market too. Mike also sent them as a gift so Mr customs didn't take a slice FP Racing is proud to offer Galfer high performance brake rotors and pads in a format never seen before.
Oh I do like the look of those discs from FP Racing; I may have to purchase a set of fronts and rear for my redbull I've just bought, from Ebay. 2 sets (2 pads per set) of GALFER pads for £13.50 per set - RRP £25....I do love Ebay
I purchased cheap Wavey disc from eBay For my 600 an they warped straight away so I went for a set of Armstrong discs which looked mint and. Performed brilliantly for the next 12,000 miles
Had Armstrong wavys too, replaced a set of galfers which went real bad. The Armstrongs were great, especially for money!
I used Armstrong front disks on my old 7R, absolutley perfect and never warped in two years of abuse! I will be buying a set again for the blade.
