Wanted to ride the bike Thursday but a flat battery on a new bike
Battery on charge for 15 hrs put it back on bike still won't start , battery
dead , ring bike shop up complain , wanted me send battery back recorded
delivery £18 odd , and we will test it and if faulty a replacement will be sent
out to you next we'd/thurs , ( bull shit it will ) I complain and want battery
now , picked up new one this morning and fired it up , ;)
Sun is out , cold , windy but I'm eager to get out , leathers on and off I go ,
Bike feels good , very fast and even though not going over 6000 revs ,
20 miles later Im cold stop in Shrewsbury for a coffee , but just looking at the bike
I'm back on it again and down to craven arms , another coffee and I make my way
back home , I've took my time today rode how I want to and enjoyed it ,
Yes there's some chicken strips still there but so what , they'll go soon ,
I'm home , safe , and had a cracking ride out , even though I was on my own ,
3 coffee's later and I'm now back to my normal temp ;), so if its dry tomorrow
I'm out again , sorry no pictures you'll just have to take my word for it .

Top job Barney and its what you have been dreaming about .Its perhaps not a bad thing taking your time and getting used to it .If you can hack the cold now just think what's coming .

Glad you got out today. I did as well and had great fun.
It's funny you had a battery problem identical to me, my dealer was fantastic and did everything to rectify the problem. I wonder if there is an inherent problem with new blade batteries!!

But the shop now knows who I am shall we say :D
I've loved today , my own speed , just took my time
and got used to it , bloody cold tho , but if dry tomorrow

I think mate that the battery problem is because its you. Love you like a brother as I do there is no way, no way I would hold your hand in a thunderstorm.

You've had your launch glitch now so it's all go from now on. I'm pretty sure I speak for almost everyone here in saying how made up we all are to read this thread.

Fuck me, we've waited long enough for it!

You've waited long enough , how you think I felt when I was taking pictures
all I ever wanted to do was ride a bike , god when they all went past
And just waiting for them to come into sight again , made me feel good in a
Stupid way , but with health issues and that it was a no go ,
I'm not 100% now truth to be known , but hell I'm on the ball
and you try and stop me enjoying myself , I'm here for a while
longer yet and believe me my time has just began :D

Yeah, obviously youve waited for a long time, but we outnumber you and it's been like pulling bloody teeth for us and if I'm not getting my own way........well, lets just say I can only be reasonable for so long...

Barney, great you managed a ride out. Won't be long before your slipping it in for it's first service, and before you know it it's 10 degrees warmer and 4 hours lighter.
There's a lot who left their rides in the garage today because of the temperature, I know I did.

    Big respect.

Glad your out Barney, yeah it was cold, I had a sneaky one to ponderosa hands just about made it in winter gloves. Strange that battery thing on your bike, mines ok, but I notice the blade sounds like a lazy starter if you know what I mean. On a triumph I had it was the opposite as soon as you touched the button it fired straight up
