    hi guys,

Having purchased a 2014 blade today I'm on the hunt for an exhaust.
It's between 2- Austin racing and a full akrapovic system, problem is I'm not keen on the look of the akrapovic and the way the pipe is exposed on the bottom and also the price tag that comes with it!!!

The AR is stunning and would be perfect except for the noise, been doing some research and I can't figure out the baffle situation???

    Managed to find this clip

This sounds perfect, but he mentions 2 baffles? Are these fitted within the down pipe?
Looking on the AR website I can see db killers but I don't think this is what's being used!

    I'm confused

    Can anyone help?

    Cheers
    Hedges

On my rsv4 gp2r pipe they supplied 2 internal baffles
One at 35mm hole through it
    One with 50mm

So you can run either or none ... ( these are inserted in can but at the bike end where it pulls apart )

Also you can buy a seperate db killer that goes in the end

    Hth

Ps I ran the 35 on my rsv4 and it was very nice ;-)

Cheers mate, that's a great help!

I'm assuming the 35mm baffle would be the quietest?

Yes mate , still very loud on my rsv4 but they are louder anyhow .
I'd be happy running the 35mm job on the blade .
I personally wouldn't want it any louder :)

Do they make a link pipe for the AR pipe so you can get rid of the cat?
