I don't think Mrs T would be pleased with bikes in the kitchen - I get told of for leaving a tea spoon in the sink!!!

Cb1000r come with ABS and CBS

And all it s just about how CBS work
    CBS or combine brake system
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Combined_braking_system

that s mean , you will need TWO independent brake circuits in one of the front calipers

here oem abs/cbs cb1000r right caliper
    mY3EAaIajX-DGdQ1Sq927cA.jpg

how i can plug in one 4 or 6 or 8 pots calipers 2 circuits ? (sure caliper can be modified ,but i m really not interested :p)

why i m gonna use this 6 pot from vfr1200?
-because vfr 1200 come also with CBS , that s mean on left caliper two independent circuits
    4 pots and 2 pots
    $_35.JPG
(AKA vfr 1200f is the only bike in the world to have radial calipers and CBS , well ariel too as based ON vfr 1200f)

why i need also vfr 1200 forks ?
-cause the bigger spacing of radial calipers due the 6 pot
(120mm instead of 108mm as usual ,120 mm are also calipers out of yamaha r1-mt01 6 pot calipers )

why i cannot use r1 or mt01 forks
-because r1 forks are too short
-mt01 are bit too longer , also good used are hard to come
    -cb1k forks are 50 -55 AS vfr12f unit ,
    -yamaha are 50 -54 mm

-öhlins for r1 or mt01 are about 2500 euro
-öhlins for vfr1200f are about 4500 euro

so i m the proud owner of first cb1000r abs/cbs/radial calipers in the world

and ask to myself ... HONDA was not that hard sell a bike like that.....:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
