my 2009 blade has a full Arrow 'trophy' race system. (the one with prism shaped end can)
End on it looks like a curved edged triangle with an oval internal aperture, and is not ment to be baffled.
It pulls 105 -110db on noise tests which for some circuits on no limits track days is ok but not others.
Has any one managed to fashion a secure but removable baffle to pass the noise test.

I've bought the same system in titanium, but not fitted it yet and looking at other Arrow systems you can somehow fit a baffle in from the system to can end.

Did you find any power gains and what other mods have you done?

    Cheers

yes I have had padgetts map it with a pc5 and a k&n race filter and it pulled 177.8 bhp on there dyno ( i did do some minor porting work myself as well ) the power and torque was up all over the range but particularly at the top end.
However best mods were down gearing 1down at front 2 up at rear and a hrc quick action throttle makes a massive difference and not to expensive

Good result that, I'm looking to do the same, I ised to build race car engine and ported countless heads too.
Also have some reprofiled Kent cams to HRC spec and adjustable pulleys too.

Have got a Pc5 already but thinking of going the Woolich racing way so can map ign and fuelling then.

I've got -1 on the front and -1 on the rear too and the HRC throttle too which does seem to liven it up some what.

Did you put a thinner head gasket or skim the head?

Not yet but next time I take the head off I will probably do that. A friend out in LA who I visited willow springs with had skimmed both head and block a smidge and had some kent cams managed to get 195 bhp from his 2008. He is a bit of a wiz at that sort of stuff but 30 years of international motorcross building his own engines probably helped.
