Kangaroo and Leather Motorcycle Glove Medium | eBay

Jus thad a pair delivered today, Carbon, Kevlar and kangaroo. Thought i would take a punt on them as i only have short Richa ones since my Dainese Full Metal Racer fell to bits after 11mths....

These are fantastic quality, and on a par with £200 gloves...easy!!!! If you've got the spare cash, i guarantee you won't be disappointed!!!!

Ken, i have in my hand a £200 odd pair of Dainese full metal racer, with holes in the palms after 11mth, that cost over £200... A pair of Rich Kangaroo that where £80 in the sale and these £30 hobbies are in a different league. Just goes to show you pay for the badge.....

The dearest glove they do is only £36!

I do like the old school leather jacket too.

Gotta admit I've never had a problem with dainese gloves or alpinestars for that matter, ok you pay for brand as always but you also pay for r&d & technology as well.

It's 'ok' buying an unknown brand but whilst they're on your hands that's one thing them feeling ok, the other is how well they handle heat friction, abrasion and anything else that will happen to them while your sliding down the road.

Each to they're own and everybody has they're own views so as long as your happier with them than the dainese ones you had that's fine with me, I'd be the same if I'd of had the same experience

I like the kangaroo palms... Very soft but better wear than leather apparently.

The big advantage of kangaroo is that it's tensile strength is massively superior to cowhide. Up to ten times for a given thickness of split hide. So it's less likely for the fibres to tear apart under the stress of sliding, for example, until it's scuffed all the way through. It has no embedded sweat glands or the tiny muscles for erecting hair to cause voids or weak points after tanning and it's fibres are more aligned to each other, more like the strands in a bungie than the more fibre glass like matting of cow hide.

I haven't as yet Si, I did have some Xmas money still burning a hole but I did buy a signed copy of Stirling Moss' 'All My Races' last week so there's not as much left as there was. I'm still toying with some Klan heated ones as recommended by Ms. Tart. I've got some nice short RST summer gloves but I do like to ride all year round and no matter how cold the rest of me gets I really suffer with my hands. I have bookmarked the site for future reference though as some of their gear looks quite funky.

A question about sizing though. My hands aren't Benn-esque shovels but my RST's are XL and are still a bit tight on finger length so on a longish run, my thumb and index fingers get a bit cramped. Is it normal When ordering bike gloves to go very oversized or is this an RST thing?

    Superb mate!

A few lads bought them as spares, and they use them all the time now.
