I sold my last bike and all the gear that goes with it a couple of years ago so i've had to replace everything. the weather is now starting to cool off here so i'm thinking ahead to winter storage. I've always used optimate battery chargers in the past, but i've now got a winter toy too (Land Rover Defender) so i thought i'd find a charger that can cope with both. I've ordered a ctek as it looks like it can cope. it's a bit late as it's already ordered it, but do any of you guys have any opinions on them?

I got one after having problems with my Optimate which kept doing its own thing. One minute the battery would be fine then it needed desuphating according to the leds on the Optimate. The Ctek looked a good deal with 5 years warrantee and so far has not disappointed.

thats good to know. i've done my usual trick and ordered £100 worth of gubbins that i don't really need to go with it. in case anyone is interested, i found the cheapest place is from ctek themselves

I have an Oxford maximiser 360t and have had it for 4-5 years now. It'll charge my bike battery, car batteries and my caravan leisure battery with no problem. Best of all is it was free with a subscription to fast bikes all those years ago.
