battery in the later model blades

    I have heard that later models are fitted with lithium batteries as standard. is it true?

    According to Fowlers website its still the same Yuasa YTZ7S

    Is this for the later models (2012>>)?
    Looks like I was told porky pies by the person to make a battery sale.
    I wonder why nobody seems to fit them as standard these days

    The new SP2 has one I'm sure but not on the SP1! but I might well be wrong:cool:

    I have checked a few on line parts sites, they all seem to list YTZ7s for 2016~17. Mind you I could not see any reference to sP1 or 2
    So you could be right, wrong or sure:D (a politician's answer !)
