What a good battery or race battery for my rr9 with hrc subframe with battery box? Just want to have as back up to the one that's fitted to the bike!

-1 as a back up and for race application, lithium is good and save you a little weight.
But for general all year around road use including cold weather starting, I personally go for led acid

As a backup you can get a compact battery pack for about £30 that you can use as a jumpstarter, but if you've started using that then your battery may be at its end of days. Mine was struggling to hold charge in winter, so instead of getting the jumpstarter or a new lead battery, I put the money towards a Lithium battery instead.

SHIDO LTZ7S LION -S - was about £64 on Amazon
To compare, the stock Yuasa YTZ7s replacement is about £50

When swapping I weighed them (nerd moment)
The Yuasa factory battery was 2.08 Kg.
The SHIDO replacement was 540 g

For cold starts I switch the ignition on and then put my gloves on before starting the bike.
In theory having the lights on for that 30-60s pushes current through the battery, warms it up and so it gives more power.
Never had a problem starting it from as cold as -5C and I'll leave it up to a month with no top up charging on it.
