hi guys as in the title, I have a bazzaz TC + QS fitted on my bike and I'm experiencing some problems with QS unit. It is having mood swings, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I don't have a clue what the problem is so was thinking of buying some other brand QS but don't know if it is going to be compatible with current TC unit. Any body have any ideas on that? cheers.
Why would you be wanting to spend significant money on buying another unit when you sound like you've not tried taking the bike to a Bazzaz specialist for diagnosis. Most QS problems from what I've read are 'set-up' issues or strain gauge issues.
I can't help but had the Bazzaz on my blade for 2 years without issues. Maybe worth Email BAzzaz with the issues and see if they can suggest anything or if it was fitted go back to where it was fitted.
thanks for some suggestions guys one problem with track electronics - it is 211 miles away from me does anybody know somebody reliable in shropshire or west midlands?
You could try Dynotorque / Calsport in South Birmingham, not sure if they have a dyno mind but pretty clued up with this stuff
As far as I know Bazzaz QS only works with Bazzaz units and it's the same with most other manufacturers units too. The Bazzaz QS is a highly rated system as long as its setup properly. Here's the link to the Bazzaz QS diagnostics workflow if you wish to check the system works correctly via the workflow diagram. http://www.bazzaz.net/images/kb-bazzaz-quickshift.pdf
