Received an email from amazon.com (have an account with both com & uk) about an order. Scrolled down and and saw a value of almost $200 for the order.
    :confused:o_O
I have learned (the hard way) if something is not right, walk away. So I did but manually logged in to my account just to see as I expected, there were no orders!.
Well that was a close one since the email looked so amazonish

    so guys watch out

Get loads of scam emails like that from eBay, amazon and Apple! I always look at the senders email address, it’s easy to see then that it’s not genuine

    Simple rules for all emails:
    1. Never open any attachment
    2. Never click on any link to go to your account
    3. Never phone any number shown on the mail

Always go to your account by your own means and check it out

Yes me too, hovering the mouse over the sender's purported name brings up the actual email address it was sent from.

There is one genuine Amazon scam, that’s charging you 80quid for Prime, then continually making excuses when their crap Logistics company fail to deliver on time.
