Just spotted my old blade on e bay, item No 171321679411, looks good, especially as I stuck it down the road in Germany last year, notice there's no exhaust guard, rear pegs & no crash bungs, insurance didn't write it off but said it would be fixed by a company in Surrey, Told them I didn't want it back & they sold it on.
They got all the documents, bike was minted pre-crash & as stated they didn't write off, even though the insurance told me it cost £3850 to fix & £600 to get it back from Germany, doesn't make sense, the company that repaired it were Forth Dimension.
Seen a bike with a steeper bill than that repaired by forth dimension, all genuine pre painted Honda parts used so the bike is now mint.
Makes you wonder how many other Honda dealers are selling crashed bikes? I would expect better from a franchised dealer tbh...
If the bike wasn't written off and was repaired properly the Dealer won't even know it has been crashed! Agree, top money for an RR6 though!
I`m sure the dealer would be gutted as they probably haven`t a clue! Who`s going to send them a message asking if it`s ever been crashed then?
Been round the Nurburgring as well ( although very slowly LOL ), forgot to say its a RR7 & I've still got the rear foot rests & exhaust cover, I also fitted the red braided hoses, a man knows when he sees a previous bike!!!
Been told that that Fourth dimensions do Honda's warranty work in the UK and as such, enjoy rates for parts that franchised dealers could only dream about. I was told this by a motorcycle insurance engineer 2 weeks ago.
