Not sure if any of you actually struggle to locate them for your Blades but I've been to two different motorcycle dealerships today and they had a couple of bearings between them. And wanted the thick end of £50 for 4 wheel bearings. Called up a local place and he had the 6005 sealed rollers that I needed in stock for a fiver each. I asked him if he'll post out if anyone needs them and he said no problem. Here's the link if anyone needs bearings Home : North East Bearings and Transmission Ltd
that is very handy - I found it very tough to locate the sprocket carrier bearing and when the wheels ones being replaced it got missed - yep, guess what that's the one which failed last August .. poss caused by over tight axel nut to be fair but should have been done. If I was him I'd to 'Blade bearing kits' with all 4 weeks plus sprocket carrier and list them on ebay as a single buy. can you post up the code for the sprocket carrier one please - I had to buy a whole new carrier etc. as mine was destroyed!
Anyone have a guide of replacing wheel bearings? I've never done it before but want to do it on my blade
I looked on this website. Honda Motorcycle Parts / Genuine Honda Parts | Honda Cars | Honda Motorcycles | Honda Power Products | Lings Honda If you find your model year Blade then it shows exploded views of the front and rear wheels. Then just find the appropriate bearing on the diagram and reference it to the list underneath. Part of the bearing code isn't honda specific. If you look at that link and see the wheel bearings it just lists them as a 6005. I just phoned him up and asked for a couple of 6005 sealed roller bearings and he said "yeah no problem. Got them in stock" as opposed to Honda who said they'd have to order them in for me. If you tell me your year of blade I'll find you the link.
