Stunning that...I do love Arai's quality but they just don't fit my head! Just wish Shoei would come out with some great paint jobs
If im honest when i first tried it on it didnt feel all that great coming from my shoei which was a good fit out of the box. Took it with me to the nec show last year and arai had one of their custom fit guys there all the way from Japan! I originally thought they would just try and flog some thicker cheek pads and skull cap but the process was far more involving. Helmet must have been on and off 10+ times making small adjustments, he was feeling the changes in shape across the skull and compensating for it, taking photos each time. Result is unbelievable and it was free! It does mean each time i want a new helmet i need to go and see that guy lol. Fits so well ive flogged the shoei as im far more confident in the fit of this new one.
