Belgian Ardennes tomorrow

    Just loaded the bike up with panniers and tankbag. Leaving Dover with 3 mates at 0730 for a 250 mile ride to a little place near Spa Francorchamps. 5 nights B n B n Evening meal for about £220. Gonna be visiting the race circuit and loadsa 2nd world war museums . There's a tank in every village in the Ardennes, thanks to the Battle of the Bulge! Some fantastic roads in the area as well!!! Pix n write after I get back on 11th June:D:D:D

    Quite envious Al'. Every time I suggest Bastogne to Jeanette, I get 'sounds lovely, what's there?'. Then I tell her and get the 'over my dead body' look.

    Have a good one Mega , four of us are doing Black forest three nights , Austria Silverreta pass two nights , Nurburg ring two nights , then back to Zebbrugge and home , last week in July

    Had a better than expected ride from Calais to Huy on the E42, then it was game on for some fantastic but damp roads to Moulin du ruy, just south of spa.

    Had a great day today in the Eifel national park. All bends, mainly hairpins, lovely weather and lunch at the biker ranch in simarath

    I hope you're getting plenty of pictures Alan. I know it's not easy lugging a 10"x 8" glass plate camera and wooden tripod on the back of a bike but we will be expecting pictures. You promised us a tank in every village, remember?
