    Hello all...

Last month i stuck a post up about how wonderful my new Bell M6 carbon was...

The fecker is broke :( !

Last week the visor ratchet thing decided to go super tight, so i can't open the feckin visor without holding it with two hands and pulling it forward and up and kinda man handling it, which is bollox..
And today, i thought id wear it anyhow only to find the popper on the strap has come apart and is no longer there or popable !! FFS !!!

The hassle goes on... I bought it at the MCN show at the Excel London from a big stand that sold only helmets, but i have no idea who the dealer was, where they are and i can't find a receipt... FFS

Im going to just have to contact Bell direct and hope to get something sorted out but thats not gonna be fun because i think i have to contact Italy :/ !

I know its a long shot but does anyone out there know what company was at Excel last month that was down to the left on the first row when you walk in. Big square stand only selling helmets, Sharks, scorpions etc down one side, a load of AGVs and Bells down the other ?
I know I'm clutching at straws with that one !

So, in all, I have to retract my glowing report some what that i made last time ! Maybe i just got unlucky and i hope it gets sorted out because it is a great helmet when it works, which for the retail on one of those, everything should be faultless !

Its like the springs have gone hard or something ! I even thought about hooking them out and shortening them a tiny bit and see if it gave it more movement ! Tbh i didn't actually think about a bit of good ol' grease :) !

Now the popper has broke too, its gotta go back somewhere and i want it sorted !

Nothing worse than having your strap tap tap tapping away up the side of your lid while your riding... Had to sort out all my hoodie strings for the same reason ! Its like japanese water torture to me :/

Did you pay cash or credit card ? Only thinking if you paid by card the company will be detailed on your statement.

Try and contact the show organisers as they should have a better map or a copy of the original layout.

Also see if you can find out who the importers are. You can then find out who your local supplier is and hopefully arrange a warranty return through them. I had a similar problem with a Shark lid I bought at a BSB event, luckily Demon Tweeks were on the list and they handled it all for me and I just had to cover the postage costs.

Try Lids Direct Bud. Fairly sure that was the same stand I looked at, HJCs round the front on a tall counter with AGVs round the back in a more open type of sales area.

I have been onto Gorgeous Bikes, as they were a few stands away, but he said he "doesn't want to get involved" and "didn't move from his stand all weekend" :/ ! He also said Bell are distributed by Putoline over here ! Helmet City said there was no official UK distributor...

Been onto Bauer media that organised it and hopefully getting a better site plan emailed to me !

Cheers Kickboxer, ill investigate Lids Direct !

This is such a ball ache :(

I always leave the receipt in the box, am a bit OCD when it comes to things like that so don't have a problem finding later on if needed

Right, finally after so much hassle, but with a big thanks to Joe at bauer media, who put on the event, i have tracked down that the company that sold me the helmet and were HGB/Daytona Motorcycles !

I rang them and was told, "try putting some vaseline on the mechanism", and "the popper isn't important as it just keeps the chinstrap out of the way and not needed for any safety reason" ! WTF !!

"We can get it sent away to be looked at but it'll take a while and you'll have to cover all the postage costs" WTF !!

The guy was pretty nonchalant and didn't really want to know, so i feel a visit from an angry 6'3" 17 stone disgruntled customer my get things taken a bit more seriously

You should talk to "Mike" the owner of HGB/Daytona Motorcycles Ruislip. and give it another try.
As you might see, I am living not far away and if I can help you, just let me know.

Thank you mate.. Im going to try the grease thing, even tho i think it shouldn't need to on a helmet that retails for close to £700, but if that doesn't work then i'll have to go back to them for a sort out ! Maybe hook up with you for a blast while I'm in the area too dude !
