Looking to match a front paddock stand to my Abba Stand, not sure which is the best one and which method to use, ie the ones that lift with those prong things or the other one that lifts either side of the fork leg.... any recommendations.

With an ABBA stand, I'd recommend an under yoke stand. Every bit as easy to use as the ones that lift from the fork legs, but lets you turn the steering, swap forks etc. I'd be lost without mine.

That was also an idea (and my 1st choice) but i have a 954 and can not find anybody who has one who can recommend it. I had heard of people buying the wrong ones and then it hitting the top fairings or not clearing the front mudguard etc..... so finding someone who has a 954 and uses a top yoke stand to recommend it is not easy, hence the idea of a standard front stand.

So which manufacturer of yoke stand would be recommended to suit an 09 C-ABS, one that could be used with an ABBA?

The local bike mechanic (Remal's mate Chris) used a bog-standard ABBA yoke stand on my 929... there aint much difference in dimension/layout between a 929 and a 954...... hope that helps.

ABBA have just brought out an attachment to go with their main stand which means the front wheel can be lifted off the ground as well as the back without the clutter of a stand round the front wheel. Around 45 quid plus P&P
