Made the mistake of jet washing my rad and quite a bit of the paint has come off which is a bit poor.
Anyway R&G and Evotec both do a guard, any comments on either appreciated.

Evotech all the way pal, I've had both and found the R&G poor flakey paint, blisters and bubbles in the paint and rust, none of that with the Evotech.

Cheers m8, I've got the Evo tail tidy and that is really good quality so I'll go for one of them.

RRG sell on e-bay good price, I believe he's here on the forum, and will do logo's etc. I've got one on my 05 great fit no fuss installation, fixings included, and a little sticker(which did it for me)

I've got a Cox racing guard on mine. Does the job and the finish is great.

I fitted R&G fitted on my RR8 not long after purchase and had have none of the above (11500miles so far). Although I never jet wash my bike ( the radiator fins are too delicate for that!)
I wonder if their QC had gone south.

Cheers for the responses guys, I never realised there was so many companies out there making them.
I've actually ordered an Evotech one so we'll see what turns up.
Always handy for anyone searching in the future I suppose.
I never jetwash mine either, it was a one off as I always hand wash, it wasn't on a really high setting either but I won't be doing it again, it also blasted some of the coating from the mudguard bolts which have now started to rust, grrrrr.

Another vote for the Evotech, was a snap to fit and is bearing up well. Came with a good sticker also, and embossed EP logo... ;)

Get some ACF50 on them sharpish; squirt it on a rag and thoroughly soak - I recommend highly. The stuff seems to be use witchcraft and black magic to kill rust and prevent any new starting.

I agree hitch, I use an airbrush and spray everything on my VFR as that gets used through the winter.
Not had any corrosion problems at all
    Awesome stuff

Evotech one turned up, seems pretty good quality, nice and big embossed logo on front, the fitment is fairly straightforward other then the origami plastic puzzle that is the Fireblade inner fairing.
Got it fitted but yet to put the fairing back together, may leave this as hopefully I have an exhaust turning up tomorrow :)
    Will post pic when complete.
