Now please gents and lady's. I am no asking if you feel riding with music on is good or Bad.

Just what music you would suggest for a good playlist while "i'm listening to music on the bike"

I have just such a playlist stored on the zumo:
    Fave three are

The Test : Chemical Brothers & Richard Ashcroft
    Devil : Stereophonic
Master of Puppets : Metallica **

** may induce complete disregard for personal safety.

Top gear album 1&2 best hits best riding music IMO, but I also love a bit of classical.

I've got bagpipes loaded for this weekend ;)

Forgot this one ; 12" of Rain by The Cult.

On the subject of whether its good or bad Remal, it's a personal choice, but on my first advanced course, the instructor told me I was overthinking sometimes and trying too hard, he suggested humming a tune or singing to myself to try and just mellow out a bit, unfortunately firestarter had just hit number one so I spent three weeks tear arsing about the place screaming " I'm the trouble starter, f**kin' instigator. I'm the fear addicted, danger illustrated. "

Which was nice, worked though, still sing it sometimes to myself, accompanied by bobbly headed arai :D

I think this is far too much down to personal taste to be able to answer. Coupled with the fact that any given song needs to suit your mood at the time.

My solution is to have my iPod playing randomly in a front pocket (whether summer leathers or winter textiles) with a little rubber foot stuck on the skip button so that I can skip the track just by pushing roughly on that area of my jacket should the song not be right. That means that I pretty much always have a good riding song playing and a massive selection to choose from at the same time.

I use a set of moulded plugs with the proper filter in one side and an earphone in the other. Not a cheap solution, but using it a couple of hours a day it soon pays off!

    Exhaust music for me too.
    Find music distracting.

well with regards to music being down to the person but some good suggestions so far. I like most music from AC/DC to recent music so idea other ideas will give me something to look into

If you're a bit of a rock man, how about Free & Bad Company? That makes amazing riding music, although a little lighter than AC/DC - more like blues rock.

Surprise yourself and get into ZZ top! the later stuff more commercial but early stuff is good ol Texas Blues and rock! great riding tunes in my opinion.
Anyone that writes tunes such as 'woke up with wood', 'Tush' and 'Pearl necklace' has to be good!

Just getting into ZZ top myself, good music.

Had a bit of Fleetwood Mac on the way into work tonight, that made for pretty good riding music!
