I have a akrapovic gp end can on my 2014 sp and want to de cat my system. What is the best option? I've seen that the USA spec bikes don't run a cat but are they the same diameter for my can to fit?
The only way to get rid of that cat on a 2014 plus bike is to fit new headers, either Akrapovic or Arrow is your best option, you could fit early headers but the OD is slightly bigger! Whatever way you look at it it's going to cost you some money as your be looking at PC or Re Flash to get your fuelling bang on! I'm looking at going down the same route but just waiting for the right system to come up, then I'm looking at Re Flash ECU over winter.
You could try a long drill and then hammer and blunt chisel the rest out! I would advise taking the headers off to do it though
